Nothing is so fascinating than Kashmiri Shawls in the world of Handicraft Products. The Kashmiri artisans depict the heavenly and natural beauty on  the shawls in the form of embroidery, mostly floral motifs like neemdoor, doordaat, paladaar, baildaar, jaal and jamma designs.

The major production in shawls today is of embroided type, with the base cloth being woven out of Raffal 64 counts of woolen yarn. These hand woven shawls are embroided with beautiful floral motifs and colour schemes, perfected over centuries. Shawls are produced by two techniques, loom woven or Kani shawls and needle embroided or Sozni shawls.
